To Boys and Parents,

Our first camp in the 2022/23 session will take place from Friday 25th to Sunday 27th November and will be held at 1st Lye.

This camp will be for Juniors. Company and Seniors sections.

On the Saturday we will go to R.A.F Cosford for the day.

Royal Air Force Museum Cosford is considered one of the leading attractions in the Midlands, with over 70 aircraft on display. It is open daily throughout the year, and is free to visit.

The National Cold War Exhibition includes aircraft, military transport, missiles, memorabilia, interactive kiosks and hotspots of information. This unique exhibition reflects the social, cultural and political history of the Cold War era in a fun and innovative way. A major feature of this unique exhibition is Britain's three post war V-Bombers; the Vulcan, Victor and Valiant. Visitors are able to view many aircraft from an elevated viewing gallery.

As well as the 70 aircraft on display at Cosford, including the world's oldest Spitfire, the RAF Museum Cosford is home to a number of smaller unique exhibitions such as the Lucky Mascots exhibition and the RAF Boy Entrants permanent exhibition.

RAF Museum Cosford is one day that everyone from children upwards will enjoy whatever the weather. Children and adults alike will be fascinated by ‘Fun 'n' Flight' Interactive Gallery that is designed to excite and inform young (and old!) minds. Packed with hands-on excitement, it's the easy way to answer all those questions about how aircraft stay up in the air

On the Saturday evening there will be ten pin bowling in Dudley.

The cost per Boy will be £20 which cover bowling, food and transport. If you wish to attend then please return the below slip with a £5 deposit on or by Monday 17th October. Full payment to be paid on or by Monday 21st November.

All details regarding times and what to bring will be given out closer to the date.

Kind Regards

Graham Knight
